he ran into a boy with this bike.. they played together late evening..at the playground. he said, he wants bicycle for his birthday..

so daddy started to make food again.. indian food.. some chicken, indian cheese and spinach, beans.. wonderful dinner.

youngnan emo and yuneh were visiting.. when luke saw shorts that yuneh made, he ran and got this outfit that effa got him a long ago.. he said "it is same.. matching".. he saw the shorts and noticed how similar the fabric is to his yellow outfit.. very observant of him.

luke has been swimming everyday since he found that swimming pool on pitt street.. gotten real dark. we got him this red shirt for ocean swimming instead of wetsuit. red looks really nice on super tanned luke.

thursday in the morning, we met luca at the madison square park for music time.

so this is how it happened.. on the 17th of july at around 9:35am, luke wanted to go potty on the toilet.. which he did three times in one day.. he was so proud.. today, mommy bought portable potty seat.. he saw it and he was so excited.it is red one. he demanded that we all go out right then to potty in either garden or plyground where he saw luca do it. ..he was so stubborn about it we had to make a trip at 9pm. as we walked out of the apt. luke said " see how beautiful the sky is mommy"... then we went to playground, he tried it out at the playground..then daddy brought ice cream to share.. then walked over to 6th street garden to listen to some really cool african music.. luke wanted to stay till the end. he loved it.. what a good way to end a day. it was late.

wes bought him this 3d puzzle.. he loves his spaceship.. thank you wes..

each day luke waits for swimming pool to be opened. he was reading a quiet book that mimi and grandpa gave him a while ago, he puts two hands together to make noon on the clock, then says.. let's hurry up, tie your sneakers, we have to go swimming at twelve o'clock.

luke wanted to spend more time at the river before coming back to nyc.

luke climbed up so fast.. hey, it is lela and lou and gus's house..

we met lilian at the ice cream place

said good bye to river and had some chocolate ice cream..

luke can throw rocks all day long.. then wants to get in the water all naked.. hours.. and hours. nature boy.

we promised that we will go and visit river again before heading home so here we are..

so, luke wanted to ring a bell one more time and said.."good bye house.. see you next time".. he did not want to leave. just a little longer, not yet he said..

there was hammack.. we have to try it next time we come..

next morning, i found luke playing by himself downstairs...

luke loved gus's bed. he wanted to sleep outside on gus's bed.

after a long walk in the woods behind the house, luke and daddy looked at book on leaves to find out what kind of trees we just saw.

look at all these different kind of moss.. so much to see in the woods behind the house. lou built walk ways for hiking.

he started to play with anything that he finds around the house.. make fun for himself where ever he is.. a wonderful quality..

luke wants to get naked and jump into the water.. he just loves being outside with nature..

we went to visit lela and lou's house.. drove about 2 and a half hours from nyc..what a beautiful house.. we had most wonderful time.. walking along the river, listening to thunder storm at night.. finding frogs, walking in the woods behind the house.. we cannot wait to visit again in the fall..

there was kai's birthday party on friday afternoon.. luke tasted candy.. cannot beleive how sweet it tasted.. mommy threw it out by mistake.. he cried and cried... he said " i was hungry for candy though".....
